If you are looking for an extremely new experience in Hoi An, let’s spend a day with us ascending uphill and discover the very particular way of life of Cotu ethnic people in Dong Giang. Dong Giang is in Quang Nam Upland, about 70 km away from Hoi An to the east. The trip will give you a chance to discover new lands and culture passing the spectacular natural mountain. You will also have the opportunity to visit BoHoong village - a typical village of Kotu community, Zora village - a village specializing in making silk with manual methods as well as exploring a part of Ho Chi Minh Trail – the legendary road during the Vietnam War and Grang waterfall.

7.30: Our tour guide and driver pick you up at your hotel before heading to the eastern Quang Namwith a boxed breakfast to eat on the drive. During the way, we will take some stops to enjoy the fresh air and contemplate the beauty of forest in the morning.

9.00: Stop to visit Trung Mang tea farm which belongs to Quyet Thang tea plantation. At there, you can wallow in tea hill stretching away to the horizon, immense yourself in the green and fresh fragrance of tea. You will also have the chance to learn the methods of gathering tea bud and enjoy a cup of green tea.

9.30: Back to the car and continue travelling along the Kon river to visit Ta Vat village in order to explore nature and daily life of the local people. At here, you can try a special Ta Vat wine and listen to the old man describing the process of it.

11.00: We the wander around the Droong village to discover traditional brocade weaving village of Co Tu people and talk with the locals. Under the instruction of friendly makers, you can try hands-on making brocade.

12.00: Continue visiting Bhoong village. At this village, you will enjoy lunch by local foods such as: bamboo-tube rice, roast meat in bamboo tube, ZaRa, Cuot cake (croissant). You can also enjoy Ruou can, Tavat wine, Trdin Wine which are very aromatic and delicious. Take a rest in travel community house.

13.00: Time for walking around the Bhoong village and explore the culture of Cotu people by enjoying the Tung Tung , Za Za dancing with charming girls, learning Cotu language with locals and discovering the special architecture of Moong house (the public house).

14.30: Take a short trek to Grang waterfall in an old growth forest for a refreshing break in the cool, fresh water.

15.30: Say goodbye to the hosts and get back to Hoi An. We will drop you off at your hotel.
