The motorbike trip can be started from Da Nang or Hoi An flexibly. This trip offers a little bit adventurous but exciting riding into hidden villages in main mountainous area of Central Vietnam. PROGRAM:

Day 1 - Depart from Da Nang or Hoi An – My Son Holy Land – Prao (Dong Giang) – 130km riding (L, D)
Morning, our riders will pick you up at your hotel in Hoi An or Da Nang and we will be on the way out of town on country back roads along the Song Tranh River to My Son, the ancient centre of Cham civilization.

After the visit at My Son Sanctuary, we leave this site by a country lane for lunch en route. We continue our trip to a mountain-side road northwards to Prao – home of ethnic minority people KTu. We may stop at some villages to pay them a visit on walk around. Dinner and overnight at homestay in Dong Giang town.

Day 2 - Prao (Dong Giang) – A Luoi – Royal Hue city – 150km riding (L)
Morning: waken up by sounds of the Nature. After having simple breakfast with Vietnamese tea or coffee, we will be on historic Ho Chi Minh Trail to climb-up Cha La Pass for amazing view from the top of mountains, then cross some scattered villages of KTu. Stop for enjoying the great wild nature, take picture with hill tribe children and interact with indigenous people.

From A Tep Hamlet, our trail is parallel and very close to the border of Laos. We will have a short pause at famous Hamburger Hill then reach A Luoi town for lunch & relax. Afternoon we head on National Road No. 49 to Hue with some gentle climb up & down passes. Arrival Hue late afternoon, check in at hotel & the rest of day is your free time. Overnight in Hue.

Day 3 - Hue – Elephant Springs – Hai Van Pass – Da Nang/ Hoi An – 145km riding (L)
Morning, we ride to the Hue Citadel to visit: Ngo Mon Gate,Thai Hoa Palace, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, The Mieu Temple…The Imperial City in Hue is a walled fortress and palace in the former capital of Vietnam of the last Feudal Dynasty in Vietnam – Nguyen Dynasty. Leave the Citadel; we cycle to King Tu Duc’s tomb to learn more about the Royal life. 
Late morning we ride to Thanh Toan covered bridge on an interesting village road winding through green paddy fields. Stop for a look at one of the numerous village communal houses on the way. Leaving the ornate bridge and heading the scenic Tam Giang lagoon, stop en route at a village specializing in mushroom growing. This part of our today’s ride is known to offer the most spectacular rural landscape of the whole Vietnam. Crossing Truong Ha bridge to the other side of Tam Giang lagoon, you ride on through fishing villages to An Bang village for a visit to its well known fantastic huge cemetery, so called the City of Ghosts.. Here different symbols of different religions, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, Catholicism… Exist hand in hand in an incredible great ensemble of tombs. Keep riding on for 10km to Tu Hien estuary and cross Tu Hien Bridge on a scenic road winding between hills on one side and Cau Hai lagoon on the other. Then head to Lang Co beach for lunch of seafood.

After lunch, we will ride to Elephant Springs to escape the humid and hot weather before we start your hardest and most unforgettable ride up the fantastic Pass of Clouds (Haivan pass). At the top of the pass, stop for sightseeing. This is one of the rarest sites where you can see vestiges of the most significant contemporary eras of the Vietnamese history, vestiges of a fortification built by the Nguyen dynasty, military bunkers left from the war with the French and bunkers from the Vietnam War. From this height, enjoy thrilling views of the surrounding sea and mountains. Now you face the challenge of the downhill ride and reach Da Nang/ Hoi An late afternoon. The trip ends at Da Nang/ Hoi An.
